We have made very many beautiful pieces that are hanging on our walls as artifacts ! We often encourage the children on the importance of using our hands .We have also learnt painting, calligraphy, perspective drawing, form drawing and other beautiful forms of art. Last year we had a whole week of art camp where we invited children from different communities to come and participate. However this beautiful program also comes with it's own challenges: - lack of basic materials like acrylic paint, painting brushes, painting papers , painting boards,color pencils, adhesive,coloured papers, drawing papers, spray paint,glue guns,glue sticks and so forth. We would appreciate support wherever possible.

We are so proud of our humble library! We get a lot of joy whenever we see children sitting down to read without being coerced by an adult! We have several days in a week where they come to the center and consume the knowledge at their disposal! We offer assistance for free to the children who struggle with homework or are slow on learning.There is this joke that says,if you want to hide something from an African child! Hide it inside a book, because they don't like to read! We want to change that mentality and are asking for more support in order to reach more children,get a bigger space where we can accommodate a lot of children at the same time. We also need more books, chairs, desks, shelves and a white board.

Girls in our communities continue to be denied basic needs that are fundamental to their health and societal well being! Most parents don't talk to their children about adolescence and the challenges that come with being one. Our female volunteers spend at least an hour every Saturday talking with the girls who come and they share a lot. Most of the time simple things like pads,bras prove to be a challenge.
